The sad thing is, I have tons of reusable grocery bags, but I don't always remember to get them out of the car when I go in to shop! We've started using grocery-store plastic bags as our trash bags, so we haven't actually purchased trash bags in years, which is fabulous. Anyway, from a visit to World Market we have:
- Gray scarf- to replace one I bought on the Boul'Mich, which sadly disappeared over the course of two moves
- PG Tips- my favorite cheap tea; I love the top-hinge cardboard box, as well
- Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Gold- bought to try it out; it has a warrant from the Prince of Wales, which screams out from the shelf to a snob like myself (I keep saying I'm going to buy the organic gin that Prince Charles drinks some day, but I'm a wee bit attached to my Tanqueray, which has a royal warrant from the Queen)
Have a great weekend!
Yeah, I leave my reusable bags in the car more often than not...but I'm getting better!
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to remember the bags. I think we all have that problem. I know I rarely have them when I want them. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteI have a pantry full of fabric grocery bags. Most of the time I just forget to bring them. :)
ReplyDeleteLauren I have an award for you waiting on my blog. In appreciation for your beautiful blog.
I love tea as well!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Thanks for giving us a peek in your bag.
ReplyDeletei always forget to bring the reusable bags too! :P

I love that you prefer things the Prince endorses :) That is so funny!
ReplyDeleteHa ha - how lovely. Yorkshire Tea. I'm going to see if I can find you some Yorkshire Tea biscuits. They are in the shape of the letter T and flavoured with - yes, you've guessed it - Yorkshire Tea. They are utterly delicious but a bit hard to find. Not sure how well they would stand up to a trip across the Atlantic but I'll give it a go when I track some down...
ReplyDeleteThe new banner is great! I'm going to have to try that tea! My ex husband is from Dublin but spent many years growing up going back and forth between Ireland and England. Because of him, I developed a love for all things U.K. related - food, music, fashion, movies (although, my fondness of Agatha Christie comes from my parents), etc.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I'm drooling over your gray scarf! :)
Hehe I use grocery bags for my trash too, even when they have holes!
ReplyDeleteI just line them with paper so they wouldn't leak. :)

Jenny- how is it I've never heard of these biscuits?! Although, stores here have a good selection of McVitie's products, Walkers products and not much else!
ReplyDeleteHey, your blog has a new name! I like it!
ReplyDeleteI am an anglophile, but my intense love of coffee eclipses tea. World Market is a good place to find my favorite biscuits: McVities dark chocolate digestives.
Yorkshire Tea is the best! I like the version they make that's been designed for regions with hard water. They also make a mean tea loaf.
ReplyDeleteHa! You seem to be craving cold weather too...I just bought myself a scarf on Friday despite the fact that it is still over 100 degrees here. Come on autumn!
